Jeff loved the Lord and his family with all his heart and would have done anything for them.  Corey and Ethan were his pride and joy.  He was so very proud of them and all their accomplishments.  Jeff enjoyed family gatherings and playing with the kids.  He was a kid at heart in a big man’s body. He had a passion for history and studying bible prophecy.  He could talk to you for hours about anything.  His trip to Israel was a trip of a lifetime.  He loved the time spent there seeing scripture revealed. Jeff enjoyed all sports and loved going to the races.  As one of the state’s best girl’s, softball umpires he could tell you any rule in the book.  He and his umpire partner, David Cross studied the rules endlessly and did over a thousand games together.  Jeff enjoyed being around his softball family and friends and missed umpiring during his illness. Jeff graduated from Randleman High School in 1982.  He was a professional truck driver and drove for many companies all over the United States. Jeff was a fighter until the very end of his battle with cancer.  He has finished his race and won the battle. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

The family would like to thank all their friends, neighbors, and extended family for all their help during his illness.  Thank you to the caregivers from All Generations for taking such good care of him, especially Ashley Hill and Melody Horton.  A special thank you to Hospice of Randolph County for all their love, care, and kindness they showed Jeff and our family.
