Bradley James Luffman

June 25, 1990 ~ May 1, 2021 (age 30)

Obituary

On May 1st, 2021, an amazing light left this world, because of an ended battle with addiction. Bradley James Luffman was 30 years old. He did not plan to be an addict, quite the opposite. Bradley jumped straight into baseball as early as he could, probably to prove to his brothers and sister that he “wasn't too little" and thrived on the field for years, along with four-wheeling, skateboarding, dirt bike riding, and snowboarding. He had an amazing zest for life and loved learning new things. His creative and artistic abilities knew no bounds.

Bradley's life held so much promise and he was loved so deeply by so many... and yet, he still died from drug-related causes. Addiction does not discriminate. It also does not define a person's identity. Though he lost the battle on this earth, Bradley won the war, because he accepted Christ as his personal savior at Bethel Colony of Mercy, a Christian treatment facility, on January 14th, 2021. His identity is now "child of God" forever.

Bradley was an adored husband and "Brad-dad," cherished son, beloved brother, spoiled grandson, and loyal friend. He had a contagious laugh, and the wittiest, most hysterical sense of humor. He lit up every room he entered with his smile and energy. Bradley was always there to help a friend, or stranger. His heart stayed on his sleeve, and no child or animal could resist his loving presence. The day Bradley died, a part of us died along with him. We are crushed, but not destroyed. We will see Bradley again. This fact will strengthen us to smile through the pain and rejoice knowing we will join Bradley in the arms of Jesus, one day.

Bradley will be deeply missed by devoted wife, Amber; "unicorn" daughter, Ava; parents, Bryan and Monica; grandmother, Delores; siblings, Joshua, Tiffiny (Jonathon), and John; half siblings, Chris (Jenny), Lauren (John), and Taran; aunts and uncles, Victor (Tanya), Lisa (Virgil), Joel (Angie), Angela, Scott, Beverly, Debbie, and Mike; great aunt, Karen; nieces, Andrea, Mykala, StellaGrace, and Meredith; first cousins, Daniel, William, Emma, Amber, Amy, Brandon, Adam, Kimberly, Brandon, Jeramie, Victoria, Billy, Nickolas, Emily, Natalie, Sommer, D.J., Jacob, John, Julie, Lori, and Eric.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life Service at Triad Church in Greensboro, NC, located at 705 Sunshine Way, on Sunday, May 16th, at 2:30pm.
